Help with SC Blueprint Bot
Most setup problems are one of the first three questions below. If yours is not, the support server is the fastest way to reach someone.

Common questions
- The bot joined my server but no /blueprint commands appear.
- The invite URL was missing the applications.commands scope. Kick the bot and re-add it from the Discord App Directory listing, which always requests both scopes.
- The commands appeared but the bot ignores everything I post.
- The bot only watches two channels — the upload channel and the query channel — and a server admin has to map them first with /blueprint-config. Run /blueprint-config with no parameters to see what is currently set.
- I cannot see /blueprint-config.
- It requires the Manage Server permission. Ask a server admin to run it, or to grant you that permission.
- The bot deleted my screenshot. Is that intentional?
- Yes. After a successful upload the original screenshot is deleted to keep the channel clean. The blueprint data is already saved by that point.
- Some materials came back flagged as unverified.
- Material names are cross-checked against the UEX Corp commodity database, and an unverified flag means the match was not confident enough to confirm automatically. The blueprint is still saved — the warning is informational.
- I uploaded an item that was already there. Did I overwrite it?
- No. Re-uploading performs a merge — you are added to the crafters list and base statistics are updated if your screenshot has them, but existing data is preserved. Re-uploading is always safe.
- My search found nothing, but I know the item exists.
- Try a shorter or different part of the name. Search handles partial matches and minor typos, but one or two characters is usually too little to match on.
- Can other people see my shopping lists?
- No. Shopping lists are private to you, per server. There is no sharing feature at the moment.
- What data does the bot store about me?
- Your Discord user ID, so uploads can be credited to you and shopping lists can be linked to your account, plus the display name you had when you uploaded. Names shown in the bot’s replies are looked up live from Discord, so they stay correct if you rename yourself. Screenshots are not kept. The Privacy Policy has the full list.
- How do I get my data deleted?
- Ask in the support server or write to info@vandestadt.com, and your crafter links and shopping lists will be removed.
